Thatch Cottage is situated on Gold Hill
in Shaftesbury. This hill is more famously known as 'Hovis Hill' as this was
where the advert for HovisŪ
bread was filmed in
the 1970s. Gold Hill is cobbled and the cottages date from the 17th century. The view from the top of the hill is stunning. Thatch Cottage enjoys a peaceful position and the country garden looks out over Blackmore Vale. Relax and enjoy the view. Parking is available near to the cottage.
